Candidate for Treasurer - Chris Streatfield
In another life Chris was the accountant for the Federation of International Civil Servants' Association in Geneva, Switzerland, where he lived for 12 years. He has been a Member of the Internet Society of New Zealand since arriving in New Zealand in 1998. In InternetNZ he is a sitting Councillor, Convenor of the Constitutional Working Group and a member of the Admin Committee.
Chris designs, builds and manages web sites and small computer networks and also does some accountancy work.
He is on the Executive Committee of Volunteering New Zealand, an association of Volunteer Centres and National Organisations committed to volunteering, and he is also on the national Committee of the Safefood Campaign. Chris is the IT Specialist for Volunteer Wellington, YWCA National Office and Literacy Aotearoa Wellington, where he is also a member of the Executive Board. Chris has a BSc, diploma of Computer Modelling and is a CNA.
Chris is currently a member of the ACM and the IEEE Computer Society.
