In all, 481 votes were received. Of the votes received:
- 267 votes in favour of the proposal
- 206 votes against the proposal
- 8 were rules invalid
Of the valid votes cast, 56% supported the .bank.nz proposal. This figure falls short of the 70% required under the policy for the proposal to proceed any further.
