SECRETARYS REPORT FOR AUGUST/SEPTEMBER 2001

Another busy month which involved dealing with far too many lawyers!

1. Chaired Admin Cmte
2. Liased with DOMAINZ over Directors Insurance, Board Fees
3. Drafted with Bob job description for Board Members
4. Advertised and received applications for Board vacancies
5. Attended Constitutional Working Group
6. Meeting with Empower Group on employment related legal issues
7. Meeting with Johnston Lawrence on deemed director company issues
8. Discussions with Gavin Adlam on Constitutional isses
9. Co-ordinated response to letter from Internet Name Group
10. Drafted proposals on Mailing Lists, Board Fees, Travel Policy, Honoraria
11. Sought advice on conflict of interest issues
12. Attended DOMAINZ 100,000 domain name function
13. In consultation with Chair have put agenda together for Council and chased up reports et
14. Three quarters through updating policy handbook (a huge job) which lists all policies of Internet NZ made by Council or General Meetings
15. Participated in ICANN discussions
16. Meeting with Treasurer on draft 2002/03 budget
17. Given feedback on SRS papers
18. Various other boring admin type things
