This workstream relates to pursuing initiatives on Digital Communities and rural broadband availability. This is an ongoing joint project with Local Government New Zealand.

Budget:

$20,000 in 2009/10.

Overall Progress Summary:

No progress year to date. Conversations are occurring with LGNZ and other stakeholders as to what is next in the digital communities agenda given other policy changes since the change in government.
