Description:

This project provides resources to sponsor a specific award celebrating Maori achievement in ICT. It would be done as part of other awards already on the calendar (perhaps the annual TUANZ Awards, or the Liz Dengate Thrush Foundation awards) and aim to inspire greater success for Maori in Internet engagement.

Budget:

$10,000 in 2009/10.
