REVISED STRATEGIC PLAN
Version 1.0 10 October 2003 For: Council on 17 October 2003 Status: Public
Around 20 - 25 members attended the two face-to-face consultation workshops, and both provided excellent feedback. There has also been feedback through the online form, direct to the Executive Committee and on the members list.
A summary of all feedback is attached, along with proposed responses from the Executive Committee, for consideration by Council.
Overall feedback has been very positive on the plan with most changes being minor enhancements and one major change being the addition of an eight strategy.
A revised strategic plan based on the feedback has been prepared and is attached also.
The following timeframe is proposed for final consideration and adoption of the strategic plan.

Council adopts Final Strategic Plan |
Executive Committee feels than Strategic Plan is well enough advanced that it can now start to be used as the basis for drafting a business plan, and also requests all Committees to use their next meeting (by 9 November) to consider appropriate items for the Business Plan and submit these to Executive Committee. A template will be supplied to assist Committees with this task.
Due to the nature of the detailed scrutiny of the strategic plan and and formulation of the business plan, it is strongly recommended that Committees schedule a face to face meeting rather than tele-conference or e-mail.
