Project Description:
As a tribute to the late LDT an Internet Entrepreneurship
Foundation was established. The objective of the Foundation is to award funding
grants for use in practical educational advancement of individuals in Internet
entrepreneurship.
The objective
of the Liz Dengate Thrush Foundation is to award funding grants
for use in practical educational advancement of individuals in
Internet
entrepreneurship.
The Trustees will ensure the Foundation evolves in line with
Liz’s philosophies and enthusiasm for Internet technologies.
The President of InternetNZ is a Trustee, Susi provides ongoing
secretariat support for the Foundation, and Keith attends meetings of the Trust
in the interim.

Activities Planned for October 2008:
Report back to the Trustees on Foundation launch.
Project History:
August 2008: The Foundation was formally launched with a black tie
dinner and announcement of 4 awards which will be made next year.
July 2008: Foundation launched at ICANN meeting in Paris.
June 2008: Di Davidson created the Trust website.
February 2008 - August 2008: Foundation launches organised, new Trustees considered and donations steadily received.
February 2008: Ground work laid. Bank account set up, foundation artwork commissioned.
January 2008: Foundation registered as a Charitable entity.
