Terms of Reference:

To recommend to Council no later than 30 September 2002 a detailed process for the society to undertake to produce a strategic plan by the 2003 AGM, including time-frames and costings.

To recommend to Council an annual planning cycle for the business plan and budget.

To include in its recommendations to Council, how to ensure effective member and stakeholder involvement in the planning cycle.

Delegated Powers:

To have authority to expend up to the budgeted allocation for strategic planning.

To be able to commission external expert advice as needed, within the allocated budget.
