INTERNETNZ 2009 ELECTION CAMPAIGN STATEMENT
I see real opportunities for InternetNZ to build on our current
commitments to getting New Zealand’s technology infrastructure right, to
channel initiatives toward the use of that infrastructure as the enabler
for innovation; using the technology as a platform for collaborative
social, economic and commercial development.
As a returning councillor for InternetNZ I would continue to advocate
the development of innovation projects both from within Internet NZ and
in partnership with likeminded organisations.
With the operational and governance capabilities developed over 20 years
in similar projects I am able to offer strong leadership for
InternetNZ’s participation in this work. I seek your vote to enable this.
