2005 Council Elections
Introduction
Nominations opened on 3 June 2005 for President, Vice President and five (5) Councillor positions on the Council of InternetNZ. Subsequent to the call for nominations, Jonathan Ah Kit resigned from the InternetNZ Council, so six vacancies will be filled by candidates elected this year.
Nominations closed on Friday 8 July 2005. The terms for President, Vice President and the five top-polling Councillors are for two years, until the conclusion of the 2007 Annual General Meeting. The term for the lowest-polling Councillor is one year, until the conclusion of the 2006 Annual General Meeting.
