".maori.nz Proposal"
The Society has received an application from the Te Whänau Ipurangi/New Zealand Mäori Internet Society to create a new second level domain ".maori.nz" . Read the application .
The Society is of the view that the application clearly sets out its case for a new second level domain. This application is currently in the discussion phase. A straw poll of the Internet community will be taken in mid to late December.
Obviously the Internet community is free to discuss this application anywhere and at anytime and are encouraged to do so. However, you may wish to subscribe to the discussion mailing list - send an email to public-consult-request@internetnz.net.nz and put "subscribe" in the subject line to see what others are thinking and saying.
